I've got 60 machines linux/MAC/Windows all talking via samba fine. I'll be
there for that issue. the spam filtering thing is still fairly new to me,
but I've asked some of the questions that you will probably ask at the
meeting and everyone there is very helpful. Just remember to have as much
info as you can about what you are trying to accomplish. i.e. trying to
filter mail to my local linux mail program (evolution, kmail, mutt etc..)
using pop3 account with usernames, passwords, pop and smtp server info all
available if you can. This will make the task of people helping you much
easier!! :^)

See you there!

Hello, I have a question.

If I bring my Laptop, Router, and Desktop, can I get some assistance
Saturday @ Dunedin?

I have 2 issues.

1. I need to be able to Network from each machine.
I can network using SAMBA only if one machine is running Linux and the
other is running Windows. I cannot get Linux to Linux networking.

2. I am looking for a spam solution, I looked at spam assassin and
several others, but I am not Linux enough to get it working.

Please let me know if some people familiar with Networking Linux, and
installing Spam filters can be there.

Thanks in advance, Michael.
