I have the original Windows 1.0 developers manual, in which Microsoft refers
to "Windows" (the product) and "windows" (the screen area).

IIRC, the reason Microsoft is laying off on Lindows in the US is that it was
ruled sometime back that Windows is not a Microsoft trademark and is rather
a generic computing term with Unix history, or something like that.
Parodies are legal, so I propose Winblows XP (Xtra Proprietary) for any OS
that wants to have a name like Windows.
