Yes. The best way to keep an organ functioning as you age is to keep it busy
... and learning to use computers should keep my Dad's mind fairly active for
quite a while.
He's warming up to the idea that every major library, news source and museum
in the world is willing to deliver information to the screen on his computer
desk ... rain or shine. Moreover, he is beginning to tumble to the fact that
millions upon millions of ordinary citizens in every written language are
willing to do the same.
It wasn't until he saw my website locally (with me pointing out the red HD
access light) and then on his own computer monitor 30 miles away that the
true nature of the internet dawned on him ... that LOTS of other people left
their computers on 24/7 in order to make information available to strangers
from all over the world.
Just wait until he finds eBay, eh?
