Your box is not seeing any cards in the sockets.

I had to recompile my laptop's kernel http://kernel.org , pcmcia_cs
http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net , and finally wlan-ng
http://www.linux-wlan.com/linux-wlan by hand to get my new D-Link
DWL-650 rev P to work.
