[SLUG] A question of timing.

Folks,
I have run into a problem with our VPN at work. (It is the junk that
runs on a MS ISA server) it will not work over satellite links. I was
doing work in Nigeria, and was unable to access the office network
due to this fact. We also have people who work from home but are in
locations where the only high speed connection they have is through
the satellite TV connections.

Is anyone familiar with a VPN solution that will work with the delays
associated with satellite links? I would like to use a Open Source
solution. At work we have looked at a hardware solution (expensive and
slow with speeds similar to a dialup) and rejected it.

If there is a Open Source VPN solution that I can implement on a Linux
box that is a big plus for us. (one more blow against MS)
