There's too much of a buildup in the laugh, if you don't want to come
off as a nutter. That whole four-step process of going from a stifled
snigger to a full blown mwahahah gives it the impression of a loss of
control, as opposed to a determined expression of Evil Genius. Also,
the "mwa" at the beginning of that is indicative of more of an insane
evil, rather than the more studied, intellectual sense to a "mua" to
kick off your evil cackling. The separation of the "mwa/mua" sound from
the remainder of the ending cackle also lends to a sense of lunacy that
it seems you'd like to avoid, as it indicates (when coupled with the
extension of an extra letter A in there) that perhaps you are so
uncontrollable as to nearly lose your breath in mid-laugh. Thus, a more
effective and less nutso final cackle might be "MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!"
I'm a big believer in the traditional, tried-and-true methodology of the
long, loud evil cackling, but to avoid being branded a "nutter" one must
mold one's presentation carefully.
