Yes of course! I did not realize how the SPAM part was adjudicated. But it's
quite clear. I used to do what Robert describes myself before someone
educated me about the thread header. There's nothing obvious about it.

Now I can right click on slug@nks.net and choose New message so it's quite
easy for me to send a message to the list. I'd imagine that there are similar
methods for most GUI based email programs.
