Or use a <$100 Linksys BEFSX41 VPN router that supports 2 IPSec VPN tunnels.
If you can handle an IPSec VPN. If you are just connecting two locations,
you can get two of them and put them back to back without having to spend
big bucks on a VPN concentrator. I have had such good luck with them, that
I don't use client based VPN's anymore.

I don't know if there is a "painless" way to setup a pptp client. I've found
the documentation to be very helpful on the pptpclient site.
