Check your dhcpd.conf for: option domain-name-servers. Since you added
patches and what-have-you, your original might have been overwritten.
You can enable DNS service to dhcp clients there. After you add or
change anything to the dhcpd.conf, you will have to restart the dhcp
daemon. For my box it is /etc/init.d/dhcp restart. If I recall
correctly, SuSE stores init.d in /sbin. So if Novell hasn't changed
that aspect of SuSE, for you it would be, /sbin/init.d/dhcp restart.
