Pete, you need to put a space before the /mnt/floppy part. Also, don't type
the full word "mount" there; it's just "mnt". Everything else looks good.
Please retry this command and repost. We'll get there.

Anybody watching this thread: why would /dev/sda be mounting at /mnt/floppy
when his fstab file specifically tells /dev/floppy to mount there?
