No package TTBOMK, but I see this in mount's output:

none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)

which most likely comes from this in /etc/fstab:

none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0

Re your "no prompt" -- if you had been playing with prompt colors (and
this doesn't fix the problem), check to make sure you don't have a black
prompt on a black screen (or similar).
