The design of Windows makes it impossible to address it.
I have detailed this again and again since the mid-'90s.
But companies will assume otherwise, again and again.

Being Christmas around the corner ...

It's beginning to look a lot like Cairo ...
  every-where Longhorn goes.
MS IE integration controls the platform,
so applications heed no security storm,
And the Windows executive trusts the MZ show!

It's beginning to look a lot like Cairo ...
  every-where .NET blows.
They've relicensed Java yet again,
root privilege is still not a sin,
And no new OS means compatibility runs solo!

It's beginning to look a lot like Cairo ...
  every-where the dev-kits show.
.NET components can be found no where,
  another big DOS/Win16 compatibility scare,
And nevermind WinFS, Avalon or even Indigooooo!

     Linux Enthusiasts call me anti-Linux.
   Windows Enthusisats call me anti-Microsoft.
They both must be correct because I have over a
decade of experience with both in mission critical
environments, resulting in a bigotry dedicated to
mitigating risk and focusing on technologies ...
           not products or vendors
