My understanding is that they will wire up to your home, where ever you
are within the Tampa Bay area. I read this somewhere, but don't remember
where. The two or three months they are speaking of probably relates to
some kind of CO, like w/ DSL. They aren't laying lines in the same way
as cable did, if that's your line (ha! a pun!) of thinking. I read also
recently (again, source unremembered) that the Telcos are looking to
have a monopoly established so that they can wire everyone up, all at
once, for fiber. I don't think anyone in the regulatories is going for
it, though.
