We don't know how much media coverage it'll get, but...
- The Barnes and Noble people have done some promotion.
- Rob Reilly, who will be editing LinuxToday next week while Brian
Proffitt is on vacation, is driving in from Orlando.
- At least some video will be shot by an independent crew for use by
Prentice Hall as an example of an active LUG -- to be used at their next
national sales meeting as a spur to their sales force to PUSH LINUX
BOOKS (and get more freebies for LUG people from their marketing
department).
- Several local papers/TV stations may have reporters show up, although
this is not certain.
In other words, this is a potentially major Linux evangelism/outreach
opportunity. And you don't have to be a Brandon "'regular" to come. Even
Orlando residents are welcome! :)
