[SLUG] random questions

I have some semi-random questions for the experts on the list.

1. Why is it that, in a default install of Debian GNU/Linux Testing,
the sources.list entry for security patches is "deb
http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main" instead of "deb
http://security.debian.org/ testing/updates main"?

2. Why is MySQL so much more popular than PostreSQL?

3. Why does my Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite work perfectly under
Linux, while it would randomly decide to cause the Ctrl, Alt, and Shift
keys to "stick" electronically under Windows? I know there's not likely
to be an answer to this forthcoming, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

4. Does anyone here have experience with Xerox Phaser network printer
access from a Debian system? I need to figure out a "best" way to get
access to a Phaser 860DP from this computer, and the helpful provision
of a driver at the Xerox website did me zero good. Their instructions
basically just didn't solve the problem, period.
