Folks,
I have a remote machine I am VNC'ing to. When I hit it it starts up KDE, I want
it to start up Fluxbox. I have gone in and set up the root user to run
fluxbox rather
than kde, and when I log in locally and start up X it starts up
fluxbox, but when
I access it using VNC it starts up KDE. This is not a real fast
machine, fluxbox is
great, but KDE is a slug (no pun intended) .
I am trying to figure out what needs to be whacked in order for fluxbox to come
up. I am using Knoppix as the distro. This is the xinit.rc file for root.
#!/bin/sh
# $Xorg: xinitrc.cpp,v 1.3 2000/08/17 19:54:30 cpqbld Exp $
# /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
#
# global xinitrc file, used by all X sessions started by xinit (startx)
# invoke global X session script
#. /etc/X11/Xsession
exec fluxbox
#
xinitrc (END)
