No I get a KDE screen. I do not have a gui login on my machines, I boot
them all to the CLI and then startx if I need it.

In the past I have found the place where it is calling the window mgr and
changed it to the one I want, indeed if you start X on the machine locally
fluxbox is what now comes up.

Here is the xinitrc
