Reuters is reporting today that HP Chairman & CEO Carly Fiorina has
stepped down effective immediately, and that Robert Wayman, HP CFO, has
assumed interim CEO duties and has been appointed to the HP Board of
Directors. That's a bit of a surprise.
"While I regret the board and I have differences about how to execute
HP's strategy," states Fiorina, "I respect their decision. HP is a
great company and I wish all the people of HP much success in the
future."
