Now that I finally have time to get back to this....

Thanks for the response. However, I should have been more clear. Incomming email from the outside world needs to be forwarded, instead of being deposited in the local mailbox store.

I suppose I could accomplish this via port forwarding on the router. That will be the end result, but configuring sendmail to do the same seems more educational.
