I believe my only hurtle is to allow another user to execute the Tk
script into my xwindows session. If I su and run the script, it fails,
even with suid. If I run xhost + before using su and then executing the
script, it runs. I will export DISPLAY=:0.0 though.

The message I get from XFree86.0.log is
 ...X: client 41 rejected from local host

I've run "xhost + desktop" and "xhost + localhost" and after seeing the
message above, just for kicks, I ran "xhost + 41" with no success. I
don't know how it is arriving at "41" It is usually the same number, so
I know it is not a PID (although it is much too low for that anyway, I
would think).
