I have a small packet switch based on Knoppix, I had it using DHCP but
needed to have it use a fixed address, when I switched to the fixed IP
it will not pick the data up out of the ifcfg-eth0 file which is found under
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts
Anyone have a idea of why it does not do so? I have to go in and manually
do a ifconfig to give it the address and also do a route add in order to add
the default gw. (Still looking for where that one goes)
