Paul, thanks for your help.
At first I was running a longer script from the directory, but at some
point I moved it out and never made the connection ( I need to start
adding error statements).
I am using it to delete mysql dump files that are a old. I am, for
better or worse, using the epoch time that the file was created and
subtracting that from
the amount of time that I don't want backups for. Either way: that was
my problem. We should have more problems like this on the list ( of
course not from me though).
