I'm an advocate of using ODBC because it lets me use MySQL on Linux and
connect to darn near anything. A client asked me about Linux and was
surprised when I told him he was already using it.

Does OO allow you to work on MySQL db tables in the same sort of way as
Access? I need to start learning to deal with MySQL, and if that will get me
going that direction that will be a great help.
