Anyway, I had to reinstall debian, and I must say, the sarge installer
is *easy*.
It's really wonderful.
Oh, and keeping all your important files under subversion and
replicating the subversion repository to every machine in one's
network is a very good thing to do.
Although my disk died I lost basically nothing. :)
