Unless you are telling the ssh daemon to listen to some other port, it
is the correct port. Check and make sure the ssh daemon is running on
bear. In a terminal, on bear, type the following command to ensure the
daemon is running:
ps aux |grep sshd
You should get results similiar to:
logan@cthulhu:~$ ps aux |grep sshd
root 2082 0.0 0.3 3464 1520 ? Ss 06:03
0:00 /usr/sbin/sshd
logan 4143 0.0 0.1 1832 572 pts/1 R+ 17:52 0:00 grep sshd
If you do not, you need to fire up sshd.
