It did this with these packages before and after, I got the man-db just fine
worked wonderful... But this is not so.

Hmm, this was a Knoppix ver 3.3 install and I am trying to correct some
issues in the ax25 stuff, but the knoppix cd did not have the source just
the execs, so I am trying to get these from the debian source. So I am
not sure where exactly the Knoppix ver is with respect to Debian. I know
it is a 2.4 kernel, indeed I think it was 2.4.22 or there about.
