I probably would have had no interest either until I was using my new wireless notebook last night. Turns out my router was wide open and I didn't even realize it. Yikes!
 
( My brother gave the router to me and said the antenna didn't work. -- well it does).
 
Whats worse is that two of my neighbors networks are visible and report as being open also.
