In Mandrake Gimp requires a printer package to be installed before you can
print. In fact there are a number of packages 4 to 6 required for Gimp for
complete operations that are NOT normally installed by Mandrake. In order to
install them you MUST do a search of all supplied packages on the Mandrake
CDs.
So first question is do you have the Gimp printer package installed?
