Yes, I did a strace just before going off to work (have ssh shut down due to
hours and hours of attempts to get into my machine as indicated by a previous
post) and saw a couple of different possibities that may be the reason. Listen
has to access several other files and I think that one or two of them are root
only. I will change them to be read only by other users.
