Well, I was able to use Knoppix to get into the HD, looks like everything is
there, it took a while for it to access the linux partition, at first
I thought that
it was dead, as the first time I looked in it, it appeared to be
empty, but after
a while the directories appeared and I was able to go in and look at everything.
I shut it down and now have to get it on a machine where I can suck all off of
the HD before it dies for good. Grub will start up and load stage 2, but that is
as far as it goes, not sure if the HD is just taking to long to find the data or
what.
