Just some thoughts:
Why would anyone post after a number of messages when one could post before?
This gives the advantage of not having to read all previous answers and
comments.
It keeps one from having to scroll to the end to send the update.
Then of course one could ask why not post with ask question followed by answer
thought out the message?
