As far as a location for a Brandon area event, a few weeks/couple months
ago, I was in Comp USA on Causeway, behind the mall, and speaking to a
couple of the managers, and he offered the use of their rooms in the
back where they do their training, along with power, and wifi access,
for LUG use. I had mentioned at the time in an email to the list, but
Ive since deleted it. I cant remember thier names, and I havent been
back to that store in a while, so I cant say that its still applicable,
but if the need arises, Id happily go back and try to find the 2
managers I spoke to and see if the offer would stand. Also have some
contact info for The Daily Planet for advertising dept for getting the
word out. HTH.
