Ralink 2500 project came out before ralink decided to be more opensource
friendly. so insteado writing there own driver for linux they just
support the orginal ralink 2400/2500 project. that is out on sourceforge.
Now ralin has drivers out for most platforms. I belive that my
ralink2500 wmp56g card died on me after my cat knocked it down and I
accidentally steped on it. But that is another story for another time.
