I'm using an Epson Perfection 1260 flatbed scanner with Debian Sarge.
I've configured it successfully many times before but I'm running into
something new here. sane-find-scanner detects it, as does scanimage -L,
and the scanning programs xsane and kooka both see the scanner when they
start up, but when I try to scan
if I use xsane I get:
localhost kernel: usb 1-2: usbfs: interface 0 claimed while 'xsane' sets
config #1
or, if I use kooka I get:
localhost kernel: usb 1-2: usbfs: interface 0 claimed while 'kooka' sets
config #1
I've read this is a kernel problem, but I haven't seen any solutions.
Any ideas?
