But that's just what I did to get that error. I'm in X now, using the
"nvidia" driver, so no sweat. What about this:

(mine's a Geforce4)

Looks like I can't use nv unless I (a) upgrade it (or all of X if they're
version-matched); or (b) convince it to treat my card as a lesser card. Any
ideas?
