   I think I missed the start of this thread, but I make pdf files everyday using
open office, I now use version 2.0.02 or some such. It is slick, my only complaint
is open office acts too much like M$'s office suite, with all of it's idiotic actions.
Just my opinion. Making a document into a pdf is a single mouse click and name it.
   I frequently load image files into OO (a text document) and I drag and drop the
positions and sizes, sometime making collages, then I print them, I have much better
control size this way. OO Ver. 2 imports WordPerfect files, (most of them anyway)
which is wonderful as I have tons of them to update.
