Hi All
Last August I had MY equipment in the old office and managed to set up SSH,
Kfish, Kbear, and MySQL to work correctly as I desire except in the case of
MySQL which I only had working in a general way not the way I desire.
Currently I am attempting to reset up what I had last summer using corporate
equipment.
So far this morning I have done a complete Mandrake 9.2 installation [would
perfer later distribution but I have Mandrake 9.2 and it will suffice for
needs] but for some reason I can not get SSH to work.
I can ping from either box to the other box and I have verified that I am ping
the correct box bu rebooting [easiest way] the box being ping to see if it
does indeed stop the reception of ping at the box issuing the ping command.
Ping is working correct.
When I attempt to SSH into one box from the other I am getting a host not
recognized error.
If I recall correct SSH has a known host file at
/home/{user name}/.ssh/known-hosts
I do not have this directory or file.
Help would be appreciated.
