Well lets take a look at it.

The first thing to do is to gather a list of the things that makes each distro
stand out as a home/workstation machine.

Servers are really limited but I suppose you could break that down too. But
let's start with the first option.

Questions I immediately see are:

RH / Debian / Slackware based with it's pro's & con's
GNOME / KDE
Development / no development tools
Music mixing-recording / DVD, mp3, multimedia / safe
Real-time / not real-time
Not full of confusing options (simple) / still simple but with advanced
options
Windows integration, scanners, printers, tablets, Blue tooth, Firewire usage

Hmm, I think now that what I would do is to list each distro and offer a list
of strong/medium/weak/none for each area. Then allow you to rate importance
as you go down the list. Then list those that match your choices.

Maybe a note field at the end which gives more esoteric stuff like Visually
attractive, or whatnot.
