I should have been a little clearer. I compile the program and the QT
libraries on the SuSE machine, and then copy the program and QT libraries to
the misbehaving machine. So, the program and QT libs should be identical on
both machines. I checked for the presence of any other QT libs on the debian
machine and found none.
