I'm running the same versions... One thing that's really odd was that copying the
plugins directly into the firefox/plugins directory would hang my browser. I had to
symlink them to the installed plugin:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 kwan local 58 Oct 3 22:02 libjavaplugin_oji.so ->
/usr/java/jre1.5.0_01/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
Make sure to use the correct version in the i386 directory.
