The general concept of "inode" certainly applies to reiserfs; the
difference is ext2/3 inodes are limited in number and in fixed
locations on the filesystem depending on the options you provide.
When you are out of inodes, you can't create any new files even if
there is still pleny of room for data on the filesystem. Reiser, on
the other hand, places its formatted blocks in a tree structure, and
consequently the number of inodes is not limited in the same way as
ext2/3.
