Sales talk, yes. That's my job.
Being way ahead and staying way ahead are two very different points.

Being a public forum, I'll spare the chit-chat, but will point out that
while most large, technically savvy organizations will not divulge their
technology there are MANY that are moving away from RH to SUSE. The ones
without a linux strategy where RH and SUSE are compared have all gone
with SUSE Linux. Read into it as you wish. The technology is very
similiar - the ecosystem around it is VERY different.

Not sure which Forbes article is being referenced, but there is no
question that Novell's core business has been in a state of decline for
some time (NetWare, GroupWise), but the growth businesses (Identity and
Open Source) are on the upswing in the triple digits based on year over
year performance.
