On Tuesday, the twenty-fourth of March, 2006, the merry folk of Tampa
SLUG (Or a portion of them) assembled, as if summoned by Instinct, at
the Benigans on Dale Mabry.
Those present, in short order, were:
Spoony (Tina) and her son,
Myself,
Alex (Harris),
Mario,
Davedorm
A newcomer, Mike, friend of Davedorm.
William (Yetr2)il
Karmine, another newcomer, claims to be a Satanist and is from Bradenton.
The meeting was quite casual, being somewhat unofficial.
Spoony and myself spent much time discussing the merits of our new
Turion 64 laptops.
Mario said he would like every meeting to have a 1 hour talk, and so
asked those present what sort of topics they would be interested in to
hear or to talk about.
Some topics mentioned were virtual machines, ipv6, and programming
(Guess who suggested that one!).
Service at the Benigans was somewhat poor, until Mario went to talk to
the waiter. After this, the manager person came and appologized was
quite helpful there-on out.
