[SLUG] web hosting provider question

I have a friend that I'm going to set up a site for and was wondering if
anybody has any first hand experience with the following 3 hosting
companies:

http://www.hostexcellence.com/

http://www.ixwebhosting.com/

http://www.globat.com/

If you've actually used one of these I'd appreciate any comments. All
three have Linux hosting solutions and seem to be ranked fairly high.
