Looks like I caught up to this one a little late.
If you know what chapter or time position this starts, you can do it
easily with mplayer:
(chapter) `mplayer -vo null -vc null -ao pcm:file=credits.wav -chapter
33 dvd://1`
(position) `mplayer -vo null -vc null -ao pcm:file=credits.wav -ss 5400 dvd://1`
...which gives you credits.wav. You can then convert this to your
favorite format using your favorite format converter (sox, oggenc,
lame, ...)
F.ex. `sox credits.wav credits.ogg`
