Folks,
This hp psc 1210 printer used to work just fine, but it appears that something
has broken the thing. I have been on the road and have done several updates
while traveling. All appeared Ok until I came back to the office and tried to
print some documents. The printer shows up but with a red X on it. And if I
look at the message file I get the following:

RF-mobile:/var/log # tail messages
Jul 11 10:37:49 RF-mobile kernel: parport: PnPBIOS parport detected.
Jul 11 10:37:49 RF-mobile kernel: parport0: PC-style at 0x3bc, irq 7

This is SuSE 10.0.
