Here's one for the programmers among you. When the guys who design
languages like PHP and Perl decide they're going to precede all
variables with a dollar sign, what is the rest of the world supposed to
do when writing code in these languages? I presume that foreign
keyboards *don't* have dollar signs above the 4 key the way we do. So
how do they handle writing code in languages like Perl and PHP?
