[SLUG] CUPS / filter question

Good morning,

I have a receipt printer that I have installed on my Linux server, and
configured as a RAW printer via CUPS. I can print to it just fine. What I
would like to do is have a single escape sequence sent to the printer at the
end of the print job. I am assuming that a CUPS filter can do this job.
Where I am slightly confused is in how to tell CUPS to use this filter for
this printer. I know that a PPD file can specify the filter, but this isn't
a post-script printer so I don't need a PPD file. Can I have a PPD file that
just specifies a filter to use? Is there a simpler way?

Thanks for any advice.
