Hi all:
I have a 80 Gig (hda) and 40 (hdd) Gig drive in this confuser running
Slackware 10.0 (either drive bootable as is my norm) and the 40 Gig is
becoming slow to spin up (Yes I know it needs replaced) frequently by
the time the 80 Gig is past checking (as it boots) the 40 Gig is operable,
but the 80 Gig couldn't mount the 40, and from then on the 40 Gig is
"not a block device."
Does anyone know how to make the former "not a block device" into
a "block device"?
Forget yast etc., must be a basic LINUX command or procedure.
