For some reason, your driver is trying to use the "static" version of 
the gphoto lib, instead of the "shared" version.  Perhaps you can go 
into the gphoto src directory and run "./configure --help" and see of 
there is an option to build the libs "static" instead of "shared".  That 
would create your missing file.  Or is there an option to build the 
printer driver "shared"?
